American Friends of POLIN Museum of the History of Polish Jews, Inc. is a U.S.-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting the POLIN Museum of the History of Polish Jews in Warsaw, Poland. We also provide support to the Association of the Jewish Historical Institute of Poland.
Through fundraising, outreach, and cultural programming, we help sustain the Museum's work in preserving and sharing the thousand-year history of Polish Jews with audiences around the world.
The POLIN Museum of the History of Polish Jews sits at the heart of the former Warsaw Ghetto, facing the Monument to the Ghetto Heroes. It tells the story of Polish Jews from the Middle Ages to the present day through immersive exhibitions, educational programs, and public events.
This Warsaw-based institution safeguards one of the world's most significant collections of Jewish heritage materials, including documents, artworks, and artifacts spanning centuries of Jewish life in Poland.
