NEW MONUMENT HONORS 10 JEWISH HOLOCAUST VICTIMS

A matzeva (tombstone) was recently erected in memory of 10 Jews from Wąwolnica and Nałęczów, who were murdered in the fall of 1942 and buried in Rogalow.

Thanks to locals who warmly remember their friends, we know that amongst others, here lie: Rachel Tarczyc, 22 years old; Shmuel Eisenshtark, 50 years old; and Mr. Pulawski, 50 years old.

The matzeva was created, installed and dedicated in cooperation with the local inhabitants including a classmate of Rachel Traczyc. The location of the grave and the creation and installation of the matzeva was a joint project of:
