5. Current academic affiliation is required in all cases and must be documented with a certificate from an institution of academic employment/study.

In honor of the centennial of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Poland and the United States in 1919, the Kosciuszko Foundation and the U.S. Embassy in Poland are pleased to announce the CENTENNIAL AWARD – a new 3-month exchange to the U.S. grant offered by the Foundation during 2019-2020 academic year.

Researchers in the field of Polish-U.S. relations over the last century, historians, professors of American Studies or Ph.D. candidates researching important moments of Polish-U.S. history after Poland regained its independence in 1918 are particularly encouraged to apply.

The Awardee’s research results will be presented for publication after its completion and presented to audiences in Poland and the United States in order to increase mutual understanding of Poland and America’s shared history.

The award is sponsored by: Collegia www.collegia.pl
